What counts as a video hour?
A video hour is one hour of live streaming or on-demand video hosted on FlowMat Studio. If you run a 60-minute live class with 20 students, that counts as 1 video hour. Replays watched by students are included in your on-demand storage, not streaming hours.
What is the platform fee?
The platform fee is a percentage of the gross merchandise value (GMV) you clear through FlowMat Studio. For example, on the Pro plan at 3%, a $100 class pack sale would incur a $3 platform fee. Payment processor fees (e.g., Stripe) are separate and standard.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your dashboard settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and we prorate upgrades so you only pay the difference.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
The Starter plan is free with no time limit, so you can explore the full platform before committing. If you want to try Pro or Studio features, reach out and we can set up a 14-day trial.
Do students pay anything to use FlowMat Studio?
No. Students access your storefront, book classes, join live sessions, and watch replays at no additional platform cost. They only pay the prices you set for your classes and programs.
What happens if I exceed my included video hours?
Additional video hours are billed at $0.08 per hour. You can track your usage in real-time from the dashboard, and we send alerts at 80% and 100% of your included hours so there are no surprises.
